Conor O'Neill FBSC MRICS MCIAT
Conor was elected a Professional Associate of the Royal Institution of Chartered Building Surveyors in December 1999 and is also a Chartered Member of the Institute of Architectural Technologists.
Conor entered the construction industry in 1983 attending Hall Green Technical as a part-time student where he obtained an Ordinal National Certificate in Building Construction and subsequently obtained a Higher National Certificate in Building Construction at Birmingham Polytechnic.
In 1987 Conor commenced a Part-Time Degree in Building Surveying at Birmingham Polytechnic and graduated in 1993. During this period from 1983 to 1992, Conor was employed by as a number of Professional Architectural Practices. Conor then gained experience with a number of Chartered Building Surveying Companies in Private Practice including G Chamba Associates, Povall Worthington, Povall Flood and Wilson and E C Harris prior to joining Graham E Thompson & Company Limited in May 2001.
Conor has worked on a variety of existing and new buildings in both the Architectural and Surveying fields. His work over recent years has involved undertaking inspections and surveys of existing buildings and preparing Schedules of Dilapidations and Condition, advising on defects and the repair and maintenance to a range of buildings. This involved inspection of Houses, Offices, Shops, Office Blocks, Factories and Warehouses.
Conor is experienced in the preparation of specifications, acting as a Contract Administrator in relation to the repair, refurbishment, alteration and extension of a range of building premises and has undertaken the role of CDM Co-ordinator under the Construction (Design and Management)
